You may have seen advertising for the National Security Hotline in your local media. The National Security Public Information Campaign continues to remind Australians to remain vigilant and to report suspicious activity to authorities via the Hotline.

In order to inform national security preparation and planning, the National Terrorism Public Alert System was established. The current level of alert is MEDIUM.

The Australian Government’s Disaster Assist website provides information about recovery assistance and support.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Smartraveller website provides information on the risks you might face while travelling. It also provides contact details for DFAT’s 24-hour Consular Emergency Centre, Australian overseas posts (embassies, high commissions and consulates), and foreign diplomatic missions in Australia.
