Proscription of terrorist organisations – 19 July 2010

The Australian Government has listed four groups as terrorist organisations under Australia’s counter-terrorism laws. Three groups are currently already proscribed organisations and are being relisted following advice from security agencies that they are either directly or indirectly engaged in, preparing, planning, assisting or fostering terrorist acts.
